What an engrossing story. The team rallying around Daniel; George and Jack drinking mature cognac to drown their fear is a wonderful moment.

I really liked the Medussa aspect as that has always been a favorite myth of mine. Of course, Daniel would pick up on the "human" emotion of loneliness and the actual aging process of the aliens. The promise to return was lovely and pure Dr. Jackson.

Sometimes stories have a way to steal your words and turn them upside down. This particular story misbehaved from the start. I tried and tried to put it back on track. Fortunately the story was more stubborn than I.

Oh, and, I'm back on internet. ^.^
