I've written the epilog of my fanfic, except for the last couple of sentences. This will be tough, again, because I won't be able to find a punch line. I already have one, but it comes earlier in the story (*points at title*).
I find it a bit short. 15000 words is obviously not enough for me. Whaddya know, I'm a verbose little thing!
It's weird how easier it has become to lay down words in a foreign language. I'm not sure I could write that easily in French. Sure, grammar is troublesome. I wouldn't survive without a beta-reader. But my style, when I write in English, seems more mature. I don't know if it comes from the language itself, or from some weird aspect of my brain.
I should go to bed now. My second week at my new job is starting tomorrow. I'm still anxious about it, even though, as far as I can tell, the team is great. It's the responsibility of working with kids that gets me. Also, I need more time to prepare my activities. Last week was a rush, and I've been doing everything on the fly, which is less than ideal. I hope I'll have more time tomorrow.
About the punch line? I decided that Jack needed one. On the nose. That's an idea from not!dead!yet!Robert Rothmann, archaeologist extraordinary. I found him an interesting character to write about. He definitely had potential.
